On February 8-9, 2001, USGS managers and discipline leads, Place-Based Studies steering committee members, and several others met to formulate a plan for USGS participation in CERP. At that meeting, a list of CERP projects and activities were reviewed and, based on constraints on funding and staff, the USGS identified 3 levels of participation (full participation, tracking only, no participation) with emphasis on the highest priority projects. The appropriate individuals or disciplines were identified for participation in these projects. This list will be updated as project activities progress and as individuals are assigned or reassigned:
